A city with well established brands of educational institutes, was left gasping with wonder when sir entered the education sector in 1983 with the establishment of Modern Vidya Niketan School in Faridabad.A tale of capturing dream and turning them into reality began at MVN where values and education in sync define excellence in education.He firmly believed that a school should aim at building an integrated personality that is a harmonious balance of our body, our thoughts, and our aspirations which help a child to realize his/her unique potential.
He could gauge the demand of thousands of students who were clamoring for quality education and made this as his mission of life.
What sets apart the peerless from the prosaic is their vision, mission and commitment. As former President APJ Abdul Kalam had said “Dream is not that which you see while sleeping; It is something that does not let you sleep”. Shri Gopal Sharma Sir always exhorted the students to ‘Dream big to Achieve big.’
He walked the talk and dreamt of and laid the foundation of MVN group of Schools that aim to provide a conducive environment for the students to ideate experiments, explore and reach new zeniths, where students are encouraged to think out of the box, take calculated risks, where required, and develop scientific and rational temperament.
Sir, made this onerous task his ultimate goal. The result was churning out. Scores of IITians, Doctors, Chartered Accountants, Defense Personnel who had their careers shaped by their Alma Mater, courtesy one man whose midas touch transformed their lives and made them exceptional. The magnum opus, hence crafted, soon left every educational institution behind and created a new benchmark for others to emulate.
A well balanced personality combines a harmonious blend of Gravitas and athleticism. Shri Gopal Sharma, himself a great sports enthusiast, put a high premium on not only developing the best sporting facilities and hiring the best coaching faculty but also training the students in various sports and promoting sportsmanship. His passion for sports and ingraining the same in his students led him to invite great sporting personality like Mr. Kapil Dev, to the school Sports Day event as Chief Guest to exhort the students to strike a perfect balance between studies and sports.
Shri Gopal Sharma Sir was perceptive and discerning enough to realize that the entire objective of education is to inculcate virtues like karma, humility, righteousness, purity of thought and mind and above all, to fight for truth and justice. He firmly believed that education humanizes a person and it is only under the able guidance of a teacher that worthwhile education can have long term aim

He often said “The need of the hour is to provide the society with good human beings.A social crusader, Sir’s heart beat for the lowly and downtrodden.He knew education is the only way to bridge this chasm and toiled to make a difference. His philanthropic activities included free education to meritorious students from the EWS category.Sir’s humility, self - discipline and perseverance endeared him equally to his pupils, staff and parents.
Sir’s vision lives on, and today the MVN fraternity works tirelessly to take his vision to dizzying heights.
